Ceramic Molds
Plaster molding molds are preferably made of high-hardness plaster with excellent water absorption, resulting in more robust and durable clay creations.
Designed as a single integrated unit, they resist sticking and allow for easy demolding, ensuring reusability.
Comprising both positive and negative sections, the molds provide the opportunity to explore two different imprinting methods, each with its unique creative and decorative characteristics.
Before use, molds should be air-dried or allowed to dry naturally to enhance their water-absorbing properties.
For slip casting molds, it is essential to smooth out the seams at the joints after demolding.
After high-temperature firing, clay creations may experience a 10%-15% shrinkage in size.
