Ceramic Bisque
Porcelain, before glazing, is referred to as “raw porcelain” or “bisque (Ceramic Bisque).” Made from kaolin clay, it possesses a subtle and light gloss.
Our raw porcelain utilizes high-quality natural kaolin clay directly poured to form, and all pieces undergo firing at 800°C, minimizing the risk of cracking. The thickness of the body is even, and the surface is delicately smooth, facilitating easy coloring and painting.
To transform the raw porcelain into finished ceramics, a second firing is required at temperatures ranging from 1180 to 1250°C, resulting in a roughly 10% shrinkage rate during the porcelain conversion process.
