Underglaze Colors
Underglaze Color Concentrate Pigments
Underglaze Color Concentrate Pigments are gel-like liquids, highly durable and boasting strong adhesion. They resist smudging during the painting process and maintain their vibrancy even after prolonged firing.
Underglaze Powder Pigments
Underglaze Powder Pigments, with their fine texture and stable color development, exhibit excellent color dispersion. The high saturation of colors prevents graying, and the pigments retain their vibrancy long after firing.
These pigments can be directly kneaded into clay or mixed with slip to create colored clay bodies. Sculpting with colored clay or slip, followed by spraying a transparent glaze and firing, allows for the creation of more three-dimensional and richly textured artworks.
They are also suitable for underglaze painting in ceramics. Mixing and grinding the pigments with a sticky medium, and then applying them to the bisque, provides another method for artistic expression.”
